Just disconnect your hoses and leave the area a mess, after all if someone gets hurt it wont be you,and obviously you, mess worker do not think the person who walks after you deserves to be safe.
I actually think the supervisor shares equally in responsibility for this mess. If the supervisor is not involved in the process of prevention then it is sure to happen again and again, as we humans are creatures of habit , either good or bad.
